I’ve been told for years that I have nice teeth, but isn’t it funny that the one thing that everyone else loves, YOU always think can look better? We’re our own worst critics aren’t we? It’s sad but that’s how it is.
I honestly think my teeth are a bit off white and eventually (within a 2 year time frame), I would like to get Invisalign to make them straighter. I would prefer that option because I feel like I would look weird being a grown woman walking around with a mouth full of metal. No offense to anyone who has it, I just couldn’t do it. I am way too vain for that #sorry #notsorry.
I read an article somewhere stating that charcoal teeth whitening is the “new” thing. I also thought of trying the tooth whitening strips, but heard that eventually they start to weaken your enamel.
So I purchased the Natural Whitening Tooth & Gum Powder with Activated Charcoal from Amazon. It was $12 dollars not including tax, and was NOT eligible for Amazon Prime (if you are subscribed to that). I chose the Peppermint flavor and received it in about a week or so, so the wait was not too bad.
The benefits of the charcoal are as follows:
It promotes healthy teeth and gums without toxic ingredients, fluoride or bleach.
Safely cleans and polishes teeth, strengthens enamel, improves gum health and freshens breath.
Removes coffee, tea, wine and tobacco stains, naturally.
It is formulated for everyday use, even twice a day.
Can be used by itself or combined with any toothpaste.
4 great flavors are offered, which include: Peppermint, Cinnamint, Orange, and Spearmint.
Take a look at how crazy I look with it on:
Quite a horrid sight isn’t it??
I have only used it twice so of course there is no significant change, but hopefully in about a month or so I can show off my pearly whites.
Have any of you tried teeth whitening via charcoal? If so, tell me about your experience.
